A vehicle tracking system combines the installation of an electronic device in a vehicle, or fleet of vehicles, with purpose-designed computer software to enable the owner or a third party to track the vehicle's location, collecting data in the process.
VTU Configuration Utility
User Interface (UI) is an easy and efficient tool with which users can interact with Vehicle Tracking Unit (VTU). The VTU User Interface includes configuration of user parameters which enable the device to respond and provide the output as per the requirement.
Visiontek Vehicle Tracking Unit UI application can be downloaded from this site and can be used for VTU hardware configuration. Users can set up a secured user name and password for UI application to prevent unauthorised use. Visiontek VTU UI will support Windows xp, vista, 2000 to 2007 Operating Systems.
When VTU hardware detects the UI application, a buzzer “Beep” is generated indicating the success of connection. Similar “Beep” is generated when the configuration of the VTU is successful. In addition to buzzer sound, popup window is displayed on UI application indicating the status. Apart from configuration, user can also retrieve the details of configuration from the device using UI application. User can save unlimited configuration details in the User Interface.
The following parameters can be configured using Vehicle Tracking Unit UI application.

Instructions to download 86VT / 84VT Configuration Utility
- Right-click on the icon which you require.
- If you see "File Not Available", contact vts@visiontek.co.in
- Select "Save Target (or Link) As" option from menu
- You will be prompted to save your file on your hard drive. Choose a location and click the "Save" button.
- Check out the Frequently Asked Questions, User Manuals to help you get started.
- Extract to a folder and double click the extracted file and follow the simple setup instructions
Note: If you don't follow the instructions above, the file will not be saved to your hard drive.
